THE GREATEST DAYS PART 2

Jim held the chair for his bride and waited patiently for her to be seated.Once Trixie was settled, Jim followed suit, as did the wedding party and guests.

"This is all so beautiful!" Trixie sighed, looking at the tables and decorations surrounding them.

"Yes, you are!"Jim whispered.

Trixie looked at him then and blue met green. She reached for his hand and squeezed it."I love you!"

"I love you, Mrs. Frayne." Jim tilted his head and leaned closer to kiss her.

Trixie found herself panting slightly. She wasn't sure what it was that had caused that breathless sensation. Looking into Jim's eyes again, she instantly decided it must only be the day itself and the happiness.

This day, she had married the love of her life, this day she had been made the happiest woman in history. This day began her new life with Jim and embarked on a fabulous journey into their future together.

Trixie's mental pondering was interrupted by Pastor Miller's arrival. The blessing asked, the servers set forth to deliver the fabulous prime rib dinner to one and all.

The guests were involved in their dinner. All that could be heard was the soft clanging of silverware on china or glasses being set back down onto the table.

Wine or champagne was poured into glasses along with fruit juices for the minors.

The Bob-Whites were whispering and talking among themselves at the head table.

Mart chuckled at something Dan had said, bringing everyone's eyes to them. Feeling eyes upon him, Mart shrugged his shoulders and smiled, "What? We were just saying that Brian should have lost his voice now with all of that throat clearing he's had to do."

Jim laughed and clapped Brian on his shoulder. "And I appreciate all of the sacrifice, my friend."

"Anytime! And my voice is just fine, see?" Brian's dark eyes shone.

"Trixie, this was a beautiful wedding! You are a beautiful bride!" Di gushed.

"Yes, definitely! The weather was perfectly perfect. The apple blossoms were so pretty, and smelled divinely." Honey agreed, squeezing Trixie's hand under the table.

"Thanks to you all for your help," Glancing to Jim, she smiled, "I know I couldn't have done any of this without the Bob-Whites."

Honey and Di both tried to voice their disagreement, that they really hadn't done much to help, but Trixie waved them off.

"I know. I know exactly what you did to help me. And thank you. We love you."

Honey wiped a tear from her cheek before hugging her friend, now sister-in-law.The Bob-Whites as a group voiced their love for the bride and groom, too.

The wedding guests could hear the conversations of the wedding party and were smiling and laughing also. This was the greatest day for one and all.
